Account expiration can also be extended directly in the LDAP Account Manager (LAM) web UI — see LDAP Account Manager (LAM).

Manual Extension/Checking (Script)¶

sshadow is used for manual extension of the expiration date, or just to check the current expiration date.
Usage: sshadow <username> <status|extend|set> [days]
Automatic Extension¶

The script for this is covered in Automatic Provisioning. Flow: user fills the extension form → admin approves → script extends the account → Power Automate sends a confirmation email.
